Hi, I'm Sue Plouffe, founder of Perfect Pups. I guess you could say I've been training dogs for over 30 years -starting with my childhood experience teaching my first dog, Fritzi, to "shake a paw" using Oreo cookies. I've since learned the importance of proper canine nutrition!
After enjoying the challenge of training, tricks and freestyle (dancing with your dog) classes with my Australian Shepherd, Max, I wondered if maybe I could make a career out of doing something I absolutely loved. My motivation is helping dogs and their people form a bond based on mutual respect and trust.
Training is based on positive reinforcement only - there is no punishment or physical manipulation used to get your puppy or dog to offer the behaviours you want.
Training sessions are fun and informative, with an emphasis on helping your puppy become a well-adjusted, happy member of your family and the community.
